Qualia are the ineffable subjective qualities of conscious experience. Examples of qualia are seeing colors, feeling pain sensing exhilaration and imagining the passage of time.
Cache of Qualia (otherwise known as love) is a study of lovesickness. This series of drawn and collaged works are a companion to an experimental film entited, "The Making of Love", which explores the emotional trauma of lovesickness as experienced by a teenage girl who was seduced by an adult male. Both works are perceptual examinations of addiction, obsession, depression and resignation.
